Ingredients
MSC light tuna (Thunnus Albacares) 59%, olive oil, julienne cut dried tomato 8%, salt.
Yellowfin tuna, also known as skipjack tuna (due to its distinctive yellow fins), is a migratory species caught primarily in tropical and equatorial waters and is perhaps the most widely used tuna for canning. Its flesh is firm and pinkish in color. Chilled yellowfin tuna is of exceptional quality because, being unfrozen, it retains all its qualities and flavor. Furthermore, MSC-certified yellowfin tuna guarantees a commitment to sustainable fishing principles, traceability, and product quality. Once the finest specimens are selected and cooked, the fish is prepared and packaged using traditional techniques. For our canned tuna, we use yellowfin tuna loins, adding julienned sun-dried tomatoes and our specially selected olive oil, which imparts a unique aroma and flavor.
