MSC Light Tuna

In olive oil

Yellowfin tuna, also known as skipjack tuna (due to its distinctive yellow fins), is a migratory species caught primarily in tropical and equatorial waters and is perhaps the most widely used tuna for canning. Its flesh is firm and has a pinkish hue. Furthermore, MSC-certified yellowfin tuna guarantees a commitment to sustainable fishing principles, traceability, and product quality. Once the finest specimens are selected and cooked, the fish is prepared and packaged using traditional techniques. For our canned tuna, we use yellowfin tuna loins to which we add our specially selected olive oil, which imparts a unique aroma and flavor.
