Conservas Emperatriz is a family business located in La Rioja, dedicated to the manufacture of canned vegetables and fish with more than seventy workers on staff.
Established in La Rioja in the 60s, the mother of the founder sold sardines and fish in neighboring towns, her son began buying fruit and dehydrating it in the sun specifically the plum Claudia de la Rioja, later and with the technical advances the manufacture by means of pasteurization methods, from there to the products of the Riojan huerta as asparagus or tomato.
The founder, with his great innovative spirit, began to market wild mushrooms and truffles, being a benchmark in the market. The care and quality of the raw material is in the DNA of this company. For this reason, in 2006 it inaugurates its new facilities by introducing a production line exclusively for canned fish .
As of today, it is present in more than 25 countries and directed by the second generation, which has combined all past knowledge with modernity and with a very young professional team with a high human commitment, where women have a strong weight, continues to maintain the leadership in innovation and culinary culture.
